Pakenham & Warragul Christian Church Missions

Home and Overseas

Matthew 28:19-20 NKJV “…Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Amen.”

Both Pakenham and Warragul Christian Churches support two families on a monthly basis working on the mission field:

Warren and Sheena Luscombe are based in Fitzroy Crossing, Western Australia. Their ministry covers hundreds of kilometers and many indigenous communities. Their work is primarily spreading the Gospel, working with and supporting pastors and communities across the Kimberley Region. Warren and Sheena travel long distances to hold weekly Church services in Derby, Fitzroy Crossing and outlying communities. There is a great shortage of Christian leadership in this region, so the hours are long, at times very isolated and lonely.

Warren and Sheena are a part of AAOM Inc. (Australian Aboriginal Outreach Ministries). More information can be found on their website: www.aaominc.wixsite.com

Eugene and Fiona Gebert. The Gebert family serve in Fukuoka the capital of Fukuoka Prefecture on the north of Japan’s Kyushu Island, southern Japan. Their ministry consists of Church services, English speaking classes and community work in the parks and homes around their suburb. This family work hard to show the love of Christ with food handouts, community outreaches to adults and children. They also connect with the university students in their precinct with English classes and coffee catchups.

The Geberts are ACCI (Australian Christian Churches International) accredited Missionaries and their website is called Japan Directions: www.japandirections.com The ACCI website is: www.accimissions.org.au
